To spearhead the creation and provision of cutting-edge Transaction Banking solutions for Corporate Banking customers, emphasizing product development, client interaction, and advancing sales campaigns via interdisciplinary cooperation. To predict market trends and expand the transaction services industry, one needs a strategic attitude.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define the business requirements for all cash management product development strategies in close collaboration with the senior manager to ensure that they complement the Transaction Service offerings.
  • Control product-related hazards and regulations, including inter-team and technological interdependence, to reduce project and product risks.
  • Keep up with market trends, both strategic and competitive, and integrate them into product development and innovation processes, as well as pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Gain knowledge of the issues that Transaction Services is now facing, then come up with creative ideas, enhance present offerings, and make sure that the goods satisfy consumer expectations.
  • Communicate with the appropriate departments with any significant processing problems that are directly related to the product design or the distribution channels.
  • Assist the senior manager in introducing new items to the market.
  • Work with the technical team to iterate design and delivery while innovating and gathering customer requirements based on the current integration with the clients’ ERPs.
  • Give varying and sometimes conflicting criteria top priority in order to provide a cohesive output.
  • Convert the functional requirements of an end user to their needs.
  • Work together with product managers to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Include all interested parties in the creation and administration of the product.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • An extensive understanding of Tanzanian banking systems and products.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Transaction Service product line in the broader financial services sector.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing strategies, changing trends, and customer purchasing behavior
  • Knowledge of the theory and practice of client segmentation.
  • Thorough knowledge of professional, advisory, regulatory, and industrial bodies
  • Knowledge of the laws pertaining to channel delivery and financial services
  • Proficiency in creating executive summaries, reports, and briefings
  • Mathematical abilities
  • Proficiency in both writing and spoken communication
  • Planning a business
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • Proficiency with computers is essential.
  • Fundamental numerical abilities for calculating figures, statistics, and goals
  • Strong networking and interpersonal abilities
  • Fundamental technical knowledge
  • Capabilities for team management
  • Writing abilities for reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, banking, or a similar discipline.
  • An additional benefit is having a master’s degree in business studies.
  • Four (4) years or more of demonstrated work experience in a respectable financial institution, ideally in the departments of digital banking or transaction banking.
