Supporting the Agri Retail team with pre- and post-approval Partnership engagement procedures, relationships, and reports that analyze, interpret, and suggest suitable partnership engagement for additional evaluation and approval is your responsibility.
Main Responsibilities:
- While ensuring that engagement conditions are recorded, prepare engagement paperwork, such as NDAs and relevant draft documents, and communicate with the credit and legal departments regarding them.
- Help clients and partners on a daily basis by responding to their questions and resolving any problems that may come up.
- Carry out secretarial tasks during departmental meetings and make sure that the agreed-upon activities with our bank and partners are carried out on time.
- Create the required reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, such as BOT examiners, auditors, quality assurance, credit, and banking.
- Help with account management for partners, including keeping an eye on transactions and account activity
- When required, prepare regular reports on the performance of your partners, documents for management and the appropriate forums/committees, and compliance with post-approval or engagement with the bank.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities in Swahili and English.
- solid knowledge of the services and products offered by business banking.
- familiarity with business intelligence (BI) systems and the Flex Cube core banking operating system.
- strong computer skills, including mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Outstanding networking and people abilities for both internal and external clients.
- The capacity to efficiently prioritize, oversee several projects in a hectic setting, and carry out duties under pressure.
- strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-sufficient, cooperative, and capable of working with little direction.
- Proficiency in evaluating and creating legal contracts
Qualifications and Experience:
- Law, banking, finance, accounting, economics, and/or other related disciplines at the bachelor’s degree level
- At least two years of experience in the legal, credit, or retail banking departments.
