Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales
- Assist the sales process by offering pre-sales design support for fixed data networks, business mobility, and value-added solutions to both new and current clients looking for Airtel Business Africa Solutions.
- Help customers move forward or close transactions with Airtel Business Africa Solutions by positioning project management and service management services to them.
- Work together with the sales team to find possible clients and comprehend their unique business requirements and difficulties.
- Support connectivity gross Adds and overall enterprise revenue growth by identifying and developing opportunities for both new and existing customers.
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise in all Airtel Business products, services, and solution sets, including:
Fixed data networks (Fiber, microwave, satellite) and business mobility solutions for enterprise and wholesale customers. - NaaS/SDWAN, security, cloud, communication and collaboration platforms.
- Service management.
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise in all Airtel Business products, services, and solution sets, including:
SLA Management
- For every sales transaction, assume the responsibilities of a project manager to guarantee the timely and effective delivery of the customer’s merchandise.
- Make sure the customer’s solution meets the predetermined KPIs.
- Account for client satisfaction by holding the maintenance and service implementation teams responsible.
- Maintain the database and enterprise circuits, including the technical and business information.
- By keeping an eye on the sales pipeline and contributing to the demand plan for enterprise network supplies, you can guarantee accurate enterprise order forecasting.
- Assure consumers’ satisfaction with the product or service by offering post-purchase assistance, such as technical troubleshooting and customer training.
Customer Requirement Analysis
- Regularly providing both new and current clients with high-quality service while making sure that customer satisfaction scores are reached or surpassed.
- Create engaging presentations and product demos that highlight the value and problem-solving capabilities of Airtel solutions.
- To create high-quality, authorized technical proposals for clients, keep a close awareness of the external tools that must be used in tandem with internal tools, systems, and procedures.
- The capacity to communicate with clients as needed to assist internal sales, operational staff, or existing third-party connections.
- Obtaining, recording, and analyzing consumer feedback in order to develop new marketing and sales tactics that are aimed at specific clients.
Process Management & Documentation
- Make ensuring that accurate technical business records are maintained and updated on a regular basis.
- Attending pertinent workshops, meetings, and training sessions can help you maintain and advance the necessary information and abilities.
- Expansion of high-quality, reusable documentation in the Bid Management Repository to aid in the efficiency improvements in proposal development.
- A contribution to the repository for knowledge management and bid management
Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications & Functional/Technical Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a related information technology degree
- Prior experience as a solution architect, pre-sales representative, or in a comparable position
Other (Added advantage);
- Professional certification in security, cloud computing, networking, or a related field
- Project management qualification, such as the PMP
- Training in Sales Process Knowledge (B2B)
- Training in Presentation and Communication Skills
- Training in Stakeholder Management
- Training in Project and Time Management
- Training in Commercial Awareness
- Training on cooperation and teamwork
Required Experience Skills critical to the role
- Three to five years of expertise in the telecom sector as a solutions specialist
- Strong technical knowledge and the capacity to comprehend and successfully explain complicated technical ideas to audiences that are both technical and non-technical. Involve and collaborate with the client on a technical level.
- As needed, provide valuable project management services.
- Proven ability to handle customer inquiries, offer knowledgeable assistance, and present technical goods and services to clients.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to recognize client needs and suggest creative solutions.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented.
- The capacity to operate both individually and cooperatively in a group.
